INTRO PAGE.

Because I feel weird spamming my dash with a proper post. Here’s some things you might want to know about me: my name is Lix (not my legal name; it’s a long story, but it is the name I go by now; feel free to use it), I am 21 years old, I live in a tiny, charmless city in Spain. Can’t talk about my life because I barely have one; that’s another long story I prefer not to talk about until it becomes a thing of the past.

This is very much a fandom blog, but you may also find: poetry, quotes of a literary nature, quotes of various other natures, non-fannish pictures I like, the occasional text post or random reblog.

Fandom-wise, you’ll mostly find text posts about my feelings on certain things, and reblogged picspams. I make graphics sometimes. I also write fic, but that’s less likely to be posted to tumblr. (LiveJournal is a better venue for that.) Current interests include:

» Vampire Diaries. I am tunnel-vision-y about Vampire Diaries. My investment levels are ridiculous, and chiefly revolve around Elena and Stefan/Elena, but I pretty much love the entire cast. I have a huge soft spot for Tyler (and an even bigger soft spot for scenes where he’s uncomfortable; I have no idea, you’d think it would hit my [major] embarrassment squick, but instead it hits some kink I can’t even put a name to). I also love: Alaric, Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy, Jenna, pretty much everyone. I’m possibly the only person in the world who misses Vicki weekly, but I don’t think I’m the only one who misses Lexi.

SHIPS I SHIP: Stefan/Elena, Stefan/Elena/Damon, Caroline/Tyler, Bonnie/Jeremy, Jeremy/Tyler, Vicki/Elena, Alaric/all of his female students, Vicki/Caroline in some alternate universe, [kind of] Damon/Katherine. I also love the friendships between: the three main girls, Alaric and Damon (and in fact ship them in fic), Stefan and Caroline, Stefan and Lexi.

POTENTIAL DEALBREAKERS: I don’t always like or enjoy Damon. I’m certainly not fascinated by him or watching the show for him. When I was watching 162 Candles, even though I knew how things turned out, I kept hoping he’d get killed instead of Lexi. Matt/Caroline used to be totally cute and I loved it, but lately I’ve been having trouble liking Matt. (We’re talking even before 2.17.) And I enjoy Katherine but she’s not the reason I watch the show either. I wouldn’t lose sleep over losing her. I multiship a lot? And I really do love Vicki. So. Tread with caution.

» The Good Wife! I genuinely consider this the best show on television right now. It is thrilling and delightful and SO GOOD. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. This includes every single character. If we had to single out a couple, my favorites are Alicia (BEST CHARACTER BEST CHARACTER AKLDJHF !!!) and Cary.

SHIPS I SHIP: None in that I don’t need any to enjoy the show, but: Will/Alicia (the entire Will/Alicia/Peter triangle is quite enjoyable), Kalinda/Lana, Kalinda/Cary sometimes. I certainly like how smitten he is. Weirdly, [POTENTIAL DEALBREAKER:] I also kind of ship Cary/Alicia. Their relationship, shipping aside, is my — favorite relationship on the show, tied with Alicia and Kalinda’s friendship.

» Pretty Little Liars. The TV show, not the books. (I haven’t read the books. I tried once. It didn’t work out.) Basically my favorite thing about this show is SPENCER HASTINGS (and Troian Bellisario), somewhat closely followed by Hanna Marin. But mostly Spencer is my favorite.

SHIPS I SHIP: Hanna/Caleb, aaaand this is where it gets weird. A) I used to hardcore ship Ezra/Aria, but Ezra started acting like a dumb teenager and that really hurt my ability to love him and them wholeheartedly. I still enjoy them, though. I sometimes enjoy Spencer/Toby, but it’s hard because Keegan Allen’s face is made of cardboard. Secretly (except hahahaha not even a little) I’m into Spencer/Melissa. I’m not usually an incest shipper, but these two do it for me. SORRY. If the show gave Spencer a viable, likable love interest I wouldn’t come out of any episodes thinking about how it would be fun if Spencer hooked up with her sister and it was a secret and A found out. Emily mostly bores me, alas, but I think I’d enjoy Emily/Paige if it stopped being repetitive.

POTENTIAL DEALBREAKERS: Beside my Spencer/Melissa thing, which I promise I won’t subject you to often, and how I sexualize the hell out of Troian Bellisario and sometimes post images just because the swell of her breasts is hot or because you can see her legs in the caps, I really, really dislike Lucas, I think the guy who plays Noel has less acting depth than Keegan Allen, and I don’t particularly like Maya.

» Castle. Favorite things: Kate Beckett, Alexis Castle, Nathan Fillion’s face.

SHIPS I SHIP: Castle/Beckett, [ALSO A POTENTIAL DEALBREAKER:] Alexis/Beckett (in total seriousness). That’s pretty much it. I’ll read Esposito/Ryan if the mood strikes.

» Community. FAVORITE THINGS: Britta, Troy, Annie! Sometimes Abed! I’ve been enjoying Jeff a lot lately.

SHIPS I SHIP: None really! POTENTIAL DEALBREAKERS: I can’t stand Chang. And I loved Slater and still to this day would not mind seeing her again. Especially if she gets to interact with Britta. Because Britta/Slater is the closest thing to a Community OTP I have.

» Parks and Rec. FAVORITE THINGS: Ann Perkins! Leslie Knope being good at her job and kind and great and appreciated! Ron Swanson! Pretty much the entire supporting cast is great but I find Tom hilarious for reasons that are beyond me.

SHIPS I SHIP: None really! This is not that kind of show for me. Do love Leslie and Ann’s friendship, and I enjoy Leslie/Ben.

POTENTIAL DEALBREAKERS: I’m not that into Andy or Andy/April? They’re enjoyable but that’s about it. I love this show pretty thoroughly and quietly; don’t think there’s anything that—wait. Wait, I don’t like Amy Poehler. I KNOW THIS IS REALLY WEIRD because I adore Leslie Knope but I don’t find Amy Poehler that funny in anything else? I don’t dislike her, and I enjoy reading quotes by her, but she’s not my favorite person in the entire world.

» The Social Network, though I’m not that active in that fandom. Still, I love Jesse Eisenberg, I ship Mark/Eduardo and various Erica pairings, and… that’s all you need to know.

» Doctor Who. Basically Eleven is MY FAVORITE. I am so into him it’s giddy and ridiculous. I love him loads. I also love Amy.

SHIPS I SHIP & POTENTIAL DEALBREAKERS: I ship Eleven/Amy. I mean, I don’t want the show to go there, at least not the way it went there with Rose/Ten, but I ship them all the same. I enjoy Amy and Rory’s dynamic but Rory mostly bores me as a character. I enjoy River a lot - but I’m not too invested in her yet. I watched three seasons and a few episodes of RTD’s Doctor Who and I was never into the plot, so, although I liked the characters, at one point I gave up on it. S5 reeled me back in and actually hooked me in in a way I didn’t know Doctor Who could. Out of RTD’s Doctors and companions, my favorites were Nine and Martha.

I post Taylor Swift shit sometimes. I like her lots.
